Benvenuti at Hotel Villa Ceconi

The special hotel in Salzburg

As soon as you enter the house you can feel the passion, the attentiveness with which this house has been given an urban touch. The villa stands dreamily in the hip district of Maxglan. Salzburg is considered the northernmost city in Italy, and so we trace the line to the Furlanian master builder Ceconi with this villa.

Powerful and beautiful with a dash of charm, ten rooms and two apartments, favoloso.

The charming "Villa Ceconi" in Salzburg from the 19th century - together with the "Casa Principale - the Green Hotel zur Post", form a symbiosis of special Salzburg hospitality and 100% sustainability in combination with style and perfect service.

The city hotel offers you a unique atmosphere and an ideal location to explore the beauties of the city of Salzburg. In 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by trolleybus no. 1 or 10, you can reach the old town of Salzburg, the Mirabell Gardens and many other sights.

The history of the "Villa Ceconi

Georg and Maria Gann, the grandparents of the current owner, purchased the house at Maxglaner Hauptstrasse 28 in 1954.
This smart suburban villa was extended and guests from all over the world came to stay. The demands of Salzburg tourists increased and so the third generation began to make plans for renovation.

In 2006, the very elaborate renovation work began, as the character of this house was to be preserved at all costs. Without exception, professionals from the surrounding area were hired, as the building fabric of the historic architectural house had to be handled very carefully. The rooms, suites and holiday flats have a top style and promise every comfort.

The opening was celebrated at the beginning of 2007, and since then Villa Ceconi and the Grüne Hotel zur Post have become a permanent fixture in Salzburg's tourism scene.
